joseash Posted December 8, 2019 Share Posted December 8, 2019 Hello everyone, I'm currently new to hackintosh, after some trial and error, I was able to install Catalina on my 5580 Specs: i5 7200u 8GB RAM Kingstone 240GB SSD Well, everything seems to be working fine except the touchpad, I does work, but can't detect it on Settings > Touchhpad Thus I'm unable to connfigure the gestures and so. Moderators Jake Lo Posted December 8, 2019 Moderators Share Posted December 8, 2019 I recall 5580's I2C touchpad is Alps and it's not fully supported by VoodooI2C.kext. You'll have basic functionality only.
