Dell Optiplex 3040 Micro: installation problem

Hi guys,

this is my first time I try to get an hackintosh. I read several guides and this thread a lot of time!
I have Dell Optiplex 3040 Micro:
i5-6500T
8GB RAM
240GB SSD
HD 530


1. RAM is in the upper slot
2. To boot I inserted USB stick in the USB 2.0 port
3. BIOS configuration think is right
My installation stop after +++++++++++++++++++


I use a USB receiver for both keyboard and mouse

In attachment the error and the EFI folder
Can anyone help me to fix the error?

You're installing Catalina, you'll need a new set of USB Port limit patches. I've included in the attached Config file.

Also I don't know where you got the kexts from, but it's a total mess.

Delete everything in /kexts/Other but leave the following kexts only:

  • AppleALC
  • CodecCommander
  • IntelMausi
  • Lilu
  • USBInjectAll
  • VirtualSMC
  • WhateverGreen
  • SATA-100-series-unsupported (might be optional)

I've seen this when installing Calatina 10.15.4 with older version of Clover, but from your log file, it shows you're running latest v5118.

Did you replace the entire clover from another source after install Clover?

Go ahead and reinstall Clover on top, it won't overwrite the Config, ACPI or Kexts folders. It'll just update the drivers.

Then try again.
