AFAIK, that's the limitation of tonycraps iboot (chameleon, stolen and rebranded). But upside of the method is that you can install SL on almost anything. I always had 8GB in my main machine and had no problems whatsoever. But I didn't use iboot (chameleon, stolen and rebranded). It probably depends on the install method. geo mac Posted December 29, 2011 Share Posted December 29, 2011 Well of course I somehow f* up , and bricked ,unless your really sedimentarly set on seeing an apple instead of a dell logo,I wouldn't advise trying it ,. for me my experience is that " BIOS NOT ACPI COMPATABLE, PLEASE SEE YOUR HARDWARE ADMINISTRATOR basically no hard drive , no usb ,...luckly floppy good, cd good,. The recovory file is useless cause its 723kbs too big to fit on a 144mb , The only real alternative is a cd , heres a link to what saved my ass,..
