BillyPrefect
I would have no problems testing this if you could alter it somewhat. I have a Precision M65 which is almost identical product wise - would it be hard to change it? Or help me change it myself?
crc-error404
Do we have a working DSDT for precision M65? If so i can do a bios for you. No matter...
hfs3
If anyone tested this as of yet are there any reports? Also, this was based on EDP ver. 1.6RC1 vs. the latest version. Will this cause any conflicts? Thanks, Henry
Vector66
Do we have or need a bios update for the D830? I am afraid of which one to use. Thanks so much Mike
crc-error404
Well. We have a D830 Bios, but I dont know if it is stable or not. Maybe you give it a try? Bios Update is not needed. It's just insert the DSDT, custom bootscreen and Slic. So its helpful for the first installation and the rest is cosmetic cheers
mfearon
To update my D820 from BIOS Rev A03 required a USB Stick that was either not 8GB or not made with Disk Utility. Finally, I found a 4GB stick in a drawer that I knew had been formatted on a PC months or years ago, and all the steps worked exactly as outlined here! ( http://www.osxlatitude.com/custom-bios-update-with-slic-apple-logo-and-edps-dsdt/ ) More on this problem: https://osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/1333-how-do-i-install-the-custom-bios/page__p__8964__hl__%2Bd820+%2Bbios+%2Ba10__fromsearch__1#entry8964

Administrators Bronxteck Posted October 17, 2017 Administrators Share Posted October 17, 2017 if not you have to use phoenix tool same tool they used to make that SLIC'd bios and add the modified osx DSDT while recompiling the bios.
