XtraNexus
So, I need some help removing the whitelist on my laptop. The wireless card I have is an Intel Centrino Advanced - N 6205 Vendor ID: 8086 Device: 0085 Subsys: 13118086 And I want to replace it with a Dell DW1510 Broadcom BCM94322HM8L ( I pulled these off here ) Product: 0×1380 / Vendor: 0x103C I used Andy's SLIC Tool to extract the modules but I couldn't find which file had the whitelisted code! Maybe you guys can help? Its an Insyde bios and the bios files are here. Any help or tips would be greatly appreciated.
Darvinko
You can check to see if a request at Bios-Mods.com will help you locate the files, or result in a flashable Bios mod which will accomplish the same. There are some tutorials there which may be helpful in determining which files need to be modded. The usual Bios modification warnings apply: Do so at your own risk.Try starting here: http://www.bios-mods.com/forum/Thread-HP-Disabled-Whitelist-Mega-Thread T
