JaS Posted July 30, 2011 Share Posted July 30, 2011 Hey everyone, I know you are all ready to start getting your Hackint0shes as close to perfection as possible,before you get started read this first. One thing to include with your posts about your dsdt editing and adventures is a dump from ioreg. You can do that with one simple command from the terminal. 1.Open Terminal /Applications/Utilities/Terminal 2.At the prompt in the terminal type in this command ioreg -l -w0 -p IODeviceTree > forumusername.ioreg.txt So for me the command would by typed as such, ioreg -l -w0 -p IODeviceTree > JaS.ioreg.txt 3.Go to your Home folder /users/yourusername/ There you find a new .txt file dump of ioreg appended with your forums user name. 4.Attach it to the post you make when asking for help....Profit.
