Problem, the standby does not work and the fans are very loud and the pc gets hot. I already extracted my DSDT under Linux which I applied the following fixes : - IRQ, CMOS, and DTGP SpeedStep, and SATA fixed CPU Alias Result : no compilation error and no warnings! (great!) Does anyone can help me to improve the management of the components of my laptop natively ? I submit the two DSDT (raw and modified) and the dump of my ioregistry from the terminal (Thanks to JaS !). Everything is in the zip file attached. Here is the list of my components : - ASUS X71Vn Bios vers: 207 (10/29/2009) - 82801I (ICH9 Family) HD Audio Controller [8086] - RTL8111/8168B PCI Express Gigabit Ethernet controller [10EC] - AR928X Wireless Network Adapter (PCI-Express) [168C] - Intel® Core2 Duo CPU T5850 @ 2.16GHz 2166 MHz CPU-model 15 - G96 [GeForce 9650M GT] [10DE] - pci@0000:01:00.0 - ICH9M/M-E SATA AHCI Controller [8086] - OS X Lion Thank you in advance for any help and / or indications ! xp99 Posted August 9, 2011 Share Posted August 9, 2011 did you install the chameleon and extra from myhack after you booted into lion? There's a kext called nullcpumanagement.kext, which disables apple's powermanagement. When you don't this, your cpu gets hot and can't properly cool itself. This kext should be in /Extra/Extensions.
